Our Classes
Classes are arranged by age and current level of swimming.
30-minute classes
Parent & Tot Classes start at age 6 months

GROUP CLASSES
Level 1: This class is for beginners. We will introduce the basic skills necessary for swimming. We work on submersions, kicking, back floats, buoyancy and overall comfort in the water. This class is for children that are eager to learn how to swim. Any child who is extremely fearful should start in a private class.
Level 2: Students must be comfortable underwater, but have not yet caught a breath on their own. We work on back floating and developing rollover breathing. This group works on gaining independence in the water. The student should be comfortable to swim/kick a distance of 3 feet.
Level 3: Students are able to swim unassisted working on rollover breathing. The student is comfortable floating on their back. We work on Big Arms, and introduce backstroke.
Level 4: Students must be able to take three consecutive breaths unassisted and swim a distance of at least 10 feet. We focus on building strength, confidence and independence in the water. The student will learn side breathing, backstroke and butterfly kick.
Level 5:Students must be able to swim freestyle with side breathing for a distance of 25 ft. They can swim basic backstroke. We begin basic butterfly and begin breaststroke. Continue to work on endurance.
Level 6: Students must have solid freestyle and backstroke skills. Continue developing butterfly and breaststroke. Increase distance of each stroke.
Level 7: Students must be know the basics of all 4 competitive strokes and be able to swim at least 25 yards of each stroke. We focus on improving technique and form of all competitive strokes and increasing endurance.
Private Lessons
Classes for adults or children and are scheduled by appointment with one instructor and one student. These classes are 30 minutes in length.
